Steam Generation Recoveries Limited (SGRL) is a Tanzanian debt recovery company based in Dar es Salaam. We collect overdue debts, manage credit portfolios, repossess vehicles and other secured assets, trace absconded debtors, and sell repossessed property through licensed auctions and private sales. ### Who do you work for? Our clients are commercial banks, microfinance institutions (MFIs), SACCOs, asset financiers, government bodies and private businesses with unpaid accounts. We have worked with more than 20 institutions since 2015. ### Which areas of Tanzania do you cover? We operate nationwide, covering all 26 regions of mainland Tanzania, with field officers based in Dar es Salaam and upcountry. ### How much does debt collection cost? For portfolios of TZS 500 million and above we work on commission only: 25% of the amount collected and deposited, with no upfront fee. Smaller portfolios pay a fixed retainer of TZS 600,000 per month plus 15% commission on successful collections. ### Is your debt collection legal and ethical? Yes. We follow Tanzanian law at every stage, from demand letters and negotiation to field visits and legal escalation.
